Geffrye Museum fires up youngsters imaginations with hot air balloon homes

Youngsters created homes in hot air balloons and made window boxes filled with paper flowers at the Geffrye Museum this summer.
The workshops at the museum in Kingsland Road, Hoxton - which explores the home from 1600 to the present day - were part of its holiday activity programme.
Events co-ordinator, Laura Bedford, said many visitors told her taking part had been a highlight of their holidays.
Inspired by gardens and interiors, the theme of the activities was Inside, Outside and Up in the Air, and other workshops included designing and printing tower block inspired t-shirts and making fantastical flapping bird sculptures.
