Labour’s Meg Hilier has retained her Hackney South and Shoreditch seat with an enormous majority.
Like her counterpart Diane Abbott in the neighbouring Hackney constituency, Mrs Hillier took home more than 30,000 votes – outstripping any rivals by nearly 25,000 votes.
The MP was first elected in 2005.
