BBC newsreader and journalist George Alagiah will be hosting a debate tomorrow night, and asking whether your shopping basket can change the world.
Leading figures from the world of politics, business and the local food movement will debate and answer questions from the audience about how the way we shop can affect the lives of people globally.
Organised by the Hackney Fairtrade Steering Group, it takes place on Wednesday September 26 from 8pm to 10pm at Stoke Newington Town Hall in Church Street.
