A giant blue pigeon is the latest piece of street art to pop up in London Fields.

The 10ft high bird by two street artists, Irony and Boe, has replaced artist Pure Evil’s work, which showed a rioter carrying away one of the five Olympic rings, which was painted in the style of acclaimed artist Banksy.

The pair have already painted a fox in Waldgrave Road in Haringey.

“Is this the start of a sequence of London animals?” questioned Griff, the founder of Street Art London, who organizes weekly tours around street art locations in Shoreditch.
