A moped driver was hospitalised after a crash in Great Eastern Street on New Year’s Day.

The man was taken to hospital after police and medics were called to the junction of Curtain Road in Shoreditch at 10.20pm. His condition is not said to be serious.

Scotland Yard said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
