Groundwork’s director has cycled a mammoth 1,200 miles across the UK to raise money for two children’s charities.
Graham Parry, 44, spent two weeks cycling from Belfast to London to fundraise for BBC Children in Need and the Children’s Mitochondrial Disease Network.
The director of employment, skills & training at social and environmental regeneration charity Groundwork London, made a pit stop at each of the charity’s offices across the UK, including the office in Lower Clapton Road, as part of his challenge to mark its 30th anniversary.
He also hopes to raise awareness of Groundwork’s campaign highlighting the importance of urban green space in disadvantaged communities and to encourage everyone to safeguard their future.
