The first of four free talks on biodiversity and conservation takes place in Hackney this Thursday.
Mathew Frith, London Wildlife Trust’s director of policy and planning will be discussing the history of nature conservation in London since the mid-nineteenth century, drawing on examples in Hackney.
The talks are a collaboration between Hackney Council and the London Wildlife Trust. Another in September will focus on wetlands, then in December living landscapes and natural heritage will be on the agenda.
