Girl band made finals of busking competition in 2010
Hackney girl group The Lorelles has been picked to perform in Trafalgar Square this Saturday (April 21) for the St George’s Day celebrations.
The pop trio which reached the final of City Hall competition Busking Underground in 2010 will make an appearance in an ornamental music bandstand at the iconic location which will be transformed into a beautiful English garden for one day only.
The Greater London Authority has teamed up with award-winning horticulturalist Sarah Eberle to make the square blossom, and attractions include crazy golf, a tea terrace, decorative themed raised beds and London landmark floral sculptures
The Lorelles’ half hour set begins at 4.15pm, and the event runs from noon till 6pm.
