Hackney man beaten to death by bouncers outside German nightclub

A Hackney man has died after he was reportedly beaten up by bouncers outside a German nightclub.

Lee Heath suffered severe head and internal injuries in the incident at the popular u60311 club in Frankfurt in the early hours of Easter Monday. He died in hospital yesterday (April 27).

The 31-year-old moved from his home in Hackney to Germany to be with his girlfriend in October 2009.

Officers in Frankfurst are holding three doormen, aged 35, 32 and 29, on suspicion of manslaughter and are investigating claims that one of the suspects, a part-time boxer, used hardened “tactical gloves” during the attack.
