Hackney police are appealing for help to trace a severely autistic and epileptic man who went missing from his home in the early hours this morning.
Leon Lewis, 26, was last seen at around 12.25am when he left his home in Homer Road in South Hackney, headed towards Victoria Park Road.
He suffers from epilepsy and requires regular medication.
Scotland Yard said officers are “extremely concerned” for his safety and wellbeing.
A spokesman said: “Leon has been described as severely autistic and would struggle to talk to people, and would be unable to find his way home.”
Leon is described as black, around 6ft tall with a slim build and was wearing grey pyjamas.
Anyone who has seen Leon, or who knows of his whereabouts, is urged to contact police in Hackney via 101.
