Hackney residents invited to find out about 2012 Olympic job opportunities tonight

Job and volunteering opportunities will be promoted tonight, in a meeting about the 1012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Presentations will be made by the Olympic Delivery Authority, responsible for building the Olympic Park, and the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, whose role it is to run the 2012 Games.

There will also be presentations from The Olympic Park Legacy Company, which will manage the venues and land once the 2012 Games are over,and talks from Hackney Council staff involved in the project

Information will be available about job and volunteering opportunities, as well as important updates on new developments in Hackney Marshes.

The Hackney 2012 Community Meeting will take place tonight (Tuesday November 16) at the Wally Foster Community Centre in Homerton Road from 6pm-8pm.
