A Hoxton teenager will appear in court following the student fees protests in central London last December.
Sahim Tasyurdu, 18, of the Colville Estate, is one of 11 young people aged between 15 and 21 accused of offences during the unrest on December 9.
He will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on June 9 charged with violent disorder.
Angry scenes broke out when some people broke away from the main rally and battled with police.
A car carrying the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall was also targeted by a group that evening.
