Zumba-dancing fitness fanatics took a flipping break from their exercise class to run a pancake race on Tuesday night (Feb 21).
The ‘Pink Ladies’ at Zumba Frenzy’s Rock Steady Master Class had been enjoying a lesson with guest instructor Eddie Calle, who has previously worked with choreographer Alberto ‘Beto’ Perez - the founder of the Latin-dance craze.
But during the class at the Clapton Girls’ Academy sports hall, in Almack Road, the women showed the bemused American a light-hearted way to enjoy the British tradition of ‘Pancake Day’ on Shrove Tuesday.
They ran a relay race as they flipped pancakes in frying pans before returning to their lesson.
Mr Calle said he was “honoured” to share his passion with an “amazing groups of ladies with so much love, passion and friendship”.
