Young men are being invited to learn all about BMX biking in a bid to lower their stress levels, in a project organised by City and Hackney Mind and Access Sports.
Youths aged between 14-25 will get training in bike maintenance, bike set-up, skills and riding technique at Haggerston Park’s BMX track on Saturdays, commencing January 18.
They will also be offered individual support for stress management.
The project ‘Deal with Your Stress, Get into BMX!’, is a partnership between City and Hackney Mind mental health service and sports development charity Access Sports.
Anyone interested in participating can call 07880385041 or email shane.collings@cityandhackneymind.org.uk.
