Paintings, drawing and ceramics made by visitors and patients from Hackney’s hospice will be on display there throughout the summer.
A large painting by a group of patients will form the centrepiece of the exhibition, which opened at the Finding Space centre at the hospice in Mare Street on Tuesday.
Art co-ordinator Susie Hewlett, said: “There is no particular theme for the show although I am secretly calling it “A Major Retrospective” as it celebrates the creative achievements of many people coming to St Joseph’s over the past year.
“I also believe it’s really important to raise the profile of the arts at St Josephs and share what a positive impact it’s had on a lot of patients here.”
