The shop front of a butcher’s shop in Hoxton blew out in an electrical explosion this afternoon.
One woman was treated by the London Ambulance Service following the blast in Murray’s Meats in Felton Street just after 1pm.
Ten people evacuated an adjacent property at the parade of shops before the London Fire Brigade arrived on the scene.
Fire crews had the blaze under control within an hour.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
