Funrunner Jay’s a real boy wonder
A young lad from Hoxton has single-handedly raised more than 250 for a leading children’s charity after taking part in a 5k fun run in Victoria Park.
Jay Collier, 10, who lives off Kingsland Road completed the challenge in just 56 minutes in the scorching heat, cheered on by his family and friends.
“Jay chose the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) to support as the adverts on television always make him want to help, he is a good natured child with a fantastic caring personality,” said his proud mum Samantha.
