Revellers are invited to take part in a Voyage of the Dead march this Saturday which will see dancing, chanting, rituals, libations and rites performed in the streets.
Two-wheeled chariots, water carriages and a donkey’s cart will follow the route, which begins at 3pm at CG Hair Salon, 546 Kingsland Road, and makes its way along the Regent’s Canal ending at 7pm at Corbridge Crescent.
A moustache death ritual and painting of sugar skulls are some of the highlights.
