A debate which promises to make a change within the Hackney community boasts Hackney Mayor Jules Pipe and the Borough Commander Matthew Horne on its panel and will be streamed live on the internet next Wednesday.

Presented by Peak Practice actor Dickon Tolson, Strait Talk will give people a chance to discuss what’s happened since the riots, whether there will be more local jobs for local people and what effect gang culture is having on the community.

To take part in the audience at the event at the Tomlinson Centre in Queensbridge Road at 6.30pm, register at www.ysn.org.uk/StraitTalk

The event is organised by the Youth Skills Network along with Hackney Community Voluntary Service and the council
