A talent showcase organised by young people from The Crib youth club will see young singers, MCees and dance groups taking to the stage of the Hackney Empire on Thursday night.
Boroughs United was set up by the youth club in Balmes Road, on the De Beauvoir Estate to encourage collaboration between young Londoners, promote their positive achievements and take a stand against gun and knife crime.
All the performers are aged from six to 19-years-old and past show-stoppers have included Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity, X-factor winner Leona Lewis and The Voice winner Jermain Jackman.
“This year’s peace message is for young people to come together and unite as one, be aware of the company you keep, appreciate those around you & live a positive way of life,” said the young organisers.
Tickets cost £5 and the show lasts for three hours. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
