A festival dedicated to bats will be staged at Woodberry Wetlands this weekend.
An evening ‘bat walk’ and a chance to get up close to bats under the care of a qualified handler are scheduled for BatFest.
There will also be a storytelling session with A S Mills, author of Bobby the Brown Long-Eared Bat, on a free family fun day.
The festival coincides with the United Nations’ global awareness-raising International Bat Night.
London Wildlife Trust’s nature reserve was opened by legendary wildlife TV presenter David Attenborough in April.
