The Hackney Tory party has selected its candidate to run for the vacant mayor’s seat next month.
Amy Gray, a Conservative campaigner and school governor, will run against deputy mayor Cllr Philip Glanville, who won the vote of his Labour peers last month.
Other parties have until Thursday next week to nominate a candidate for the September 15 ballot.
