Keen swimmers are invited to swim 3,850m at London Fields Lido this Sunday, to raise money for a children’s hospice.
The Sunrise Swim challenges participants to swim the equivalent distance in metres of £3,850, which would pay for a day of care at Haven House in Woodford.
Registration opens at 6am when the challenge will also begin in the 50m heated outdoor pool. Participants must swim 77 lengths, either alone or in a team. Entry is £10 per person, and includes a hot drink to warm up on completion of the challenge, a breakfast snack and a Haven House medal.
No minimum sponsorship is required, but Haven House requests entrants raise money to help pay for a day of care at the hospice. For more information see www.havenhouse.org.uk.
