The Gazette hunts high and low each week to bring you news of the most interesting new businesses in Hackney. This week we speak to a London Fields PR agency selling T-shirts for charity to mark its first birthday.

A Hackney PR agency is leading the fight back against industry jargon by releasing a series of tongue-in-cheek t-shirts inspired by “agencyisms” to celebrate its one-year anniversary.

Staff at Munch’s London Fields office are celebrating the agency’s first year in business this month by selling tops printed with phrases including corporate favourites such as “reach out”, “touch base” and “low hanging fruit”.

All profits made from the t-shirts, which are being sold at £15.50 each, will be donated to local organisation Hackney Giving. The group supports the borough’s smaller charities in their attempts to raise money for grassroots projects in Hackney.

Founder of Munch, Lizzie Earl, said: “What better way to celebrate our agency’s first year than in a creative way that pays homage to the funny language of our industry and gives back to the area we work in?”
