London Fields will be transformed into an open-air cinema this summer to raise money for a Hackney mental health charity.
Cult ’80s classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and indie favourite Little Miss Sunshine will be screened next month in support of Mind.
The events, Movies with Mind, will also have food from foodie market Street Feast and drinks from Hackney’s craft beer brewery Five Points.
A raffle will take place each night for those who wish to try their luck at winning top prizes such as annual membership to The Rio Dalston, a £150 bar tab at Dinerama or dinner-for-two vouchers at assorted restaurants across the borough.
Mind works across the City, Waltham Forest and Hackney to empower people with experience of mental ill health to develop mental wellbeing and resilience.
The screenings take place on July 18 and 19. Tickets are £17.50 and come with a complimentary drink.
They can be bought here.
