A man has been charged with the murder of a mother and baby earlier this month.
Roland McKoy, 53, of Oswald’s Mead, Homerton, was charged today with the murders of 45-year-old Valerie Forde and her 23-month-old daughter Real-Jahzarah McKoy, who were found dead at the same address on Monday, March 31.
McKoy was also found injured at the house on the Kingsmead estate and remained in hospital until yesterday, when he was taken to a London police station.
He appears in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
