A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a father-of-one in Haggerston.

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a father-of-one in Haggerston.

Unemployed Dayne Thompson, 22, of Holloway, north London, was remanded in custody at Enfield Magistrates Court on Thursday accusing of stabbing Reginald Berko to death. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on May 14.

Mr Berko, 26, known as Reggie, died of a single stab wound to the heart after being attacked on the Fellows Court estate on Friday, January 30.

He lived with his wife and 16-month-old son in Stamford Hill.
