A man was left fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a bus in Stoke Newington.

Police and paramedics were called to Stoke Newington High Street in the evening of Tuesday December 29, following reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian at the junction with Brooke Road.

A man in his 50s was taken to an east London hospital where he was initially in a critical condition, but is now in a serious but stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
