A motorist suffered head injuries in a crash in Mare Street, Hackney central, this afternoon (Monday).
A van was in collision with a car shortly before 2pm near the junction with Brenthouse Road.
Paramedics took a man, who is believed to be in his 30s, to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with head injuries and back pain.
He was conscious and breathing, according to a London Ambulace Service spokeswoman.
No arrests have been made.
