Man tries to snatch young girl in Victoria Park playground

A man tried to snatch a four-year-old girl in the Victoria Park playground in broad daylight.
Detectives are searching for a man with a tattoo of a hand print on the right of his neck after the terrifying incident near Grove Road on Sunday at 1.20pm.
The man took hold of the girl by her arm and attempted to drag her away but was stopped by a relative of the girl and made off towards Lauriston Road.
The child was not harmed.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged 20 to 30, 5ft 6ins tall, of a slim build and with scruffy brown hair.

He was wearing a blue hooded jacket with two black patches on the back, baggy light blue jeans and black trainers.
The man had a tattoo of a hand print on right hand side of neck and in ‘Old English’ font he had the wording, “only god can judge me” between the thumb and forefinger.
