Activists will lead a demonstration against public spending cuts through Stoke Newington to the steps of Hackney Town Hall this weekend.
The march, organised by Hackney Alliance to Defend Public Services (HADPS), starts at 12 noon on Saturday at the corner of Stoke Newington High Street and Somerford Grove.
It will culminate in a rally at 2pm, featurig speeches from Hackney campaigners, politicians and trade unionists, plus live music and DJs.
HADPS wants residents to lobby the council when it meets at the town hall on March 2 to decide on its annual budget.
