A midnight walk for women only in aid of two hospices has had to be opened to men—because so many want to join in.
The sponsored event for St Joseph’s Hospice and Richard House children’s centre in East London on September 10 is now accepting applications from both sexes.
“We had so many calls from men that we simply had to open it up to everyone,” said Richard House events organiser Natahsa Reynolds. “The vintage theme has really caught everyone’s attention, so it’s nice that the ladies can walk with their menfolk.”
Deadline for registration for the Midnight Walk through Hackney, Shoreditch, Old Street and The City is September 8, online at www.vintagemidnightwalk.com. Entry �15, minimum sponsorship �100.
