Police are “very concerned” after a woman with learning difficulties, who needs daily medication, disappeared after church yesterday (Sunday, January 8).
Theresa Allie attended the service in Asylum Road, Peckham, but became separated from her family afterwards.
Police believe the 33-year-old may have travelled to Hackney because she used to live in the borough - although she may still be in the Peckham area - and a spokesman said: “Police and her family are very concerned for her safety and wellbeing.”
Theresa is described as black, of large build, about 5ft 6in tall, and she has short hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown cord trousers, brown boots and a black woolly hat.
Anyone with any information should call Bexley Police Missing Persons Unit, between 8.30 AM and 4.30 PM on 020 8284 9111, or call police on 101 outside those hours.
