Portraits taken of those who have enjoyed FoodCycle's three-course lunches - made from donated supermarket "waste" - are being exhibited at Hackney Museum.

The charity’s Thursday lunch club at New Kingshold Community Centre was set up in January 2015. It sees guests joining volunteer chefs in the kitchen to rustle up meals from whatever fruit, veg and other goods have been donated by supermarkets - which would have otherwise thrown them away.

For many guests, it is the only chance they get all week to sit down to eat a three-course meal and chat to others.

To celebrate its two-year anniversary and to showcase the diversity of the people attending, photographer Jørn Tomter took portraits of attendees at the hall in Ainsworth Road, South Hackney.

His display More than Food, is on show at Hackney Museum in Reading Lane until January 13.
