Tottenham have agreed a club record fee for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and are also closing in on signing Jack Clarke from Leeds, according to reports.
The club are said to have agreed a sum in the region of £60 million for 22-year-old Ndombele, with a five-year deal reportedly being offered to the French international.
Ndombele, a box-to-box central midfielder, started 31 times in Ligue 1 last season and impressed in his side's win over Manchester City in the Champions League.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that there are only a few remaining details to address before the midfielder travels to London for a medical and signs a contract.
Spurs are also rumoured to be close to signing 18-year-old winger Jack Clarke from Leeds, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that he is not involved in first team training with Leeds today and will undergo a medical at Tottenham.
