Pedestrian hit at Stamford Hill junction

A pedestrian was hit by a moped at the junction of Stamford hill and Clapton Common late last night.

Police and ambulance crews attended after being called just after 11pm and found the injured man. He was taken to an east London hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.

The moped rider stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
