Police evacuate buildings in Shoreditch after suspicious package found

More than 100 people were evacuated from buildings in Curtain Road, Shoreditch, this morning while police investigated a “suspicious package”.

Police closed the road down following the find just afer 9am. The incident was stood down an hour later when the package was deemed not suspicious.

Roads have now reopened.
