SCHOOLS will have to wait another week to find out how they have done in national curriculum tests.

The delay means that teachers will have a week at the most before the summer break to use the figures to review pupils' progress and plan for next year.

Primary schools waiting for their key stage two SATs results will have to wait until next Tuesday to find out how they have done.

The test scores, which measure pupils' progress in English, maths and science, were due to be released on Tuesday.

Results for 14-year-olds taking key stage three tests are also delayed.
