An up and coming Hoxton rapper will perform this Saturday (July 16) at the summer party of a charity which works with vulnerable, disadvantaged children.
Ritz, a 17-year old MC from Hoxton - who decided to become an MC three years ago when one of his friends was stabbed and killed - will make an appearance at the Street Level annual community summer party.
Ritz has become one of the local music scene’s hottest rising stars, playing at last year’s Shoreditch Festival and Brixton Splash, and was even nominated for a Spirit of London Award for his musical achievements, for which he has now become an ambassador.
Everyone is welcome to the afternoon of music, food, games, face-painting and competitions, which starts at 2pm in the gardens of St John the Baptist Church on the corner of Pitfield Street and New North Road.
