An entrepreneur took time out to speak to and inspire people at a homeless shelter.
Nana Adjei, 35, who owns three businesses in Upper Clapton Road, Clapton, spoke at the Hope and Mic event at St Mungo’s hostel in Mare Street, Hackney.
Mr Adjei said: “I told them that whatever position they may be in, they should not give up on what they want out of life.
“I was not from a rich background but was able to build on the little I had.”
He owns FK Hair Studio, barbers FK Cuts and media shop FK Media House.
