The wife of 70s pop star Les McKeown has told how she watched in horror as her husband's face was 'kicked like a football' during a pub brawl.
Ian Young, 59, and son Darren, 22, are accused of attacking the former Bay City Rollers frontman as he lay in the road.
Wife Keiko McKeown said she was also dragged out The Windsor Castle in Lower Clapton, by her hair when she tried to protect her husband.
She explained how the Youngs were already squaring up to Les when she arrived at the pub on March 4, 2007.
She said her attackers dragged her by her ponytail to the exit, before Ian Young threatened: 'I will punch you if you come back.'
The trial has heard Mr McKeown suffered a fractured eye socket, a badly damaged rib and had to have some teeth removed.
The Youngs say Les was armed with a monkey wrench, forcing them to act in self-defence.
Ian and Darren Young, both of Monteagle Way, Lower Clapton, deny causing grievous bodily harm with intent, a lesser alternative of actual bodily harm and racially aggravated actual bodily harm.
The trial continues.
