Businesses in Stoke Newington are getting into the spooky spirit tomorrow by welcoming trick or treaters on a Halloween trail.

The first of its kind in the area, businesses on Stoke Newington High Street and Stoke Newington Church Street are letting people know it is safe to trick or treat there by displaying a poster.

Event organiser Heidi Early, owner of the Earlybird Card Shop, in Church Street, got the idea after talking to customers.

She said: “Many customers last year were disappointed that businesses hadn’t organised anything. So we thought this Halloween was a great chance for us to really get involved with our community and have some fun.”
