A 92-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a car in Stoke Newington Church Street early this morning.
The driver, 54, stopped at the scene. Police have not made any arrests.
It happened just before 7am.
The victim was tonight at an east London hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cops have appealed for witnesses to the crash. Call 020 8597 4874 and give reference number CAD 1258 of February 16.
