Traders in Stoke Newington Church Street are getting into the festive spirit with a late-night shopping event today (Thu).
The trendy shopping district will be given a Christmas makeover with activities for all the family until 8pm.
It is being coordinated by Andi’s Restaurant and the Local Buyers Club – a discount scheme for independent shops – who have enlisted the Hackney Song Works Choir and even arranged a treasure hunt.
Kids can visit Santa’s grotto and hop aboard a fire engine and there will be mulled wine and mince pies to go around too.
