Stoke Newington Farmers’Market has moved to a new space just off Stoke Newington High Street for Christmas.
The market will be at West Hackney Recreation Ground in Evering Road, right behind St Paul’s Church, on Saturday December 17 as well as Thursday 22 December from 3pm to 6pm.
Growing Communities’ have been running the market which offers the chance to buy sustainable, local food from small organic farmers and producers since 2003.
“Having the farmers’ market in West Hackney Recreation Ground throughout December is a great opportunity for local residents to visit the park and hopefully see its potential,” said Cllr Louisa Thomson.
“The park is currently underused, but there are exciting plans as part of the next stage of the Heritage Lottery Fund bid to develop a green space that everyone living nearby can appreciate.”
