Diner accused of raking up huge bills at swanky restaurants and running without paying tab.
A DINER who racked up bills of thousands of pounds appeared in court yesterday (Wednesday) charged with making off without paying from a series of exclusive restaurants.
Unemployed Janis Nords, 27, of Princess May Road, is accused of running up a bill �1,021 from L’Oranger restaurant in Mayfair on Monday (November 15) before leaving the restaurant without paying.
At previous visits to the Connaught hotel in Mayfair on November 6, and the Glasshouse restaurant in Richmond on October 14, he left unpaid bills of �965 and �349 respectively.
Mr Nords, who is originally from Latvia, appeared via video link at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
