It was time to celebrate at Stoke Newington School today as they saw 99.5% of their A-level entries obtain a pass grade, with 80% achieving A* to C.
Subjects ranged from the classics such as Maths, English and Science, to the slightly less conventional Turkish.
Those obtaining either an A* or an A was up on last years’ results, with students heading to a range of universities in September which include Imperial College London, Manchester and Bath.
“We are delighted to see these brilliant achievements from all our sixth form students,” said head teacher Annie Gammon.
“They, and their teachers, have worked hard and deserve this success. I’m proud that all our students have got great results: all our intake made excellent progress whatever their starting point.”
