Kids were able to enjoy some fun in the sun just yards from their front doors at the annual Pembury Estate party.
Housing association Peabody hosted the event, which was attended by more than 400 people.
There was something for everyone on the day, including food, music, massage, arts and crafts, DJ workshops, bike security marking and dance performances. There was also time for Pembury’s Got Talent! during which dance groups Limitless and Vessels of Worship performed.
MP Meg Hillier told crowds it was great to see the vibrancy of the community on display at the event last weekend.
Oneilia Francis, 13, is part of Pembury Youth Group who performed. She said: “It was really hot. The BBQ was great and it was nice being given the chance to perform”.
