Vote for unsung heroes of Hackney’s estates

Residents living on Hackney’s estates are encouraged to place their vote for who they believe deserves to win the 2012 Hackney Homes Active Residents Awards.

The council’s arms-length housing management organisation, Hackney Homes, has compiled a shortlist from residents’ nominations of unsung heroes who work tirelessly to make their estate a better place to live.

Residents can now choose one winner in each of the four categories which include Resident of the Year, Group of the Year, Young Resident of the Year and the Ron Devoti Award for lifelong service to Hackney.

Hackney Homes’ residents will receive a voting form through their doors, but you can also vote online at www.HackneyHomes.org.uk.
