Woman and children flee kitchen fire in Stamford Hill flat

A woman and her two children were forced to flee their Hackney flat after a fire broke out in the kitchen.

The London Fire Brigade had the blaze under control within half an hour last night, after being called to Castlewood Road, Stamford Hill, just after 8pm.

Half of the kitchen was damaged in the fire which is under investigation.

No one was injured.
